Tommie Harris clears mental hurdle

Two series, seven snaps, one big smile on Tommie Harris' face.

The Chicago Bears' 6-foot-3, 295-pound Pro Bowl defensive tackle basically felt invisible since last playing in mid-December. That was while he was missing his team's last four regular-season games, three playoff games including the Super Bowl and three earlier preseason games.

That all changed when he was in the starting lineup for the preseason finale this past Thursday, a 19-9 loss to Cleveland at Soldier Field.
