‘We're about out of barricades' in SW Missouri

Rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches falling on already-saturated ground in Southwest Missouri has flooded many Jasper County roads in spots around creeks and rivers, and in places where no creeks exist.

"We're about out of barricades," said Gary Nelson, Jasper County Common Road District superintendent said late Tuesday evening. "There are so many roads in low areas that are covered this evening. In some places there may not even be a creek, it's just water running out of a field."
