Jerri (Wesseln) Bechtlofft

Jerri (Wesseln) Bechtlofft, age 64, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 5:00 a.m. in her home.

Jerri was born on March 27, 1948 in Marvell, Ark., a daughter to Aubrey and Ann (Parker) Guest. On March 17, 2004, she married Gary Bechtlofft in Las Vegas, Nev. and he preceded her in death on July 14, 2009. She had worked as a CNA at Pinckneyville Skilled Care Unit, Pinckneyville, Ill., and loved taking care of her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, John (Tabatha) Wesseln of Pinckneyville, Ill.; four sisters, Dorothy Cook of East Alton, Ill., Molly (John) Dutton of Idaho, Nancy (David) Graves of Washington and Shirley Snowardt of Washington and two grandchildren, Mackenna Wesseln and Dayton Wesseln, both of Pinckneyville, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and two brothers, Jim Guest and Shannon Guest.

As per her wishes, Jerri was cremated and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Pyatt Funeral Home in Pinckneyville, Ill. with Pastor Russell Johnson officiating.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home on Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to her grandchildren's school, Trinity-St. John Lutheran School, Nashville, Ill.
