OBITUARY: Thelma Ruth Prather

Thelma Ruth Prather, age 98, of Harrisburg, passed away at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Shawnee Rose Care Center in Harrisburg.

Thelma was born on July 12, 1914, in Eldorado, to the late William and Lucy (Inboden) Washam. She married Cleo Prather and he preceded her in death in 1977. She formerly worked as a seamstress for Harrisburg Manufacturing. Thelma was a member of the First Church of God of Harrisburg.

Thelma is survived by a son, Mike Prather of Harrisburg; grandson, Eric Prather of Harrisburg; sister, Wilma Williams of Golconda; and several nieces and nephews.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cleo; daughter-in-law, Pamela Prather; and brother, Gene Washam.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
