Anna Marie Maddox

Anna Marie Maddox, 55, of Du Quoin, passed away at 1:55 a.m., Saturday, March 30, 2013 at her residence.

Anna had worked in sales at Craig Williams Creative. She was a member of the Christian Fellowship Church in Du Quoin.

She was born Oct. 20, 1957 at Madisonville, Ky., the daughter of James R. and Martha (Moore) Phelps.

She married Donald R. Maddox on Feb. 9, 1979 at Madisonville, Ky. and he survives.

She is survived by her husband of Du Quoin, five children - Jeffrey W. Maddox of Du Quoin, Rachel Knapp and husband Nick of Irvington, Daniel Maddox of Nashville, Tenn., Christopher Maddox of Du Quoin and Rebekah Maddox of Du Quoin, her mother - Martha Phelps of Madisonville, Ky., five siblings - Pamela Collins of Elkville, Amy Brown of Newnan, Ga., Jamie Phelps of Madisonville, Ky., Joseph Phelps of Coulterville, Ill. and Christina Phelps of Madisonville, Ky. and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Gerald Wright and Bro. Percy Pavloff officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Old Du Quoin Cemetery at Du Quoin.
