OBITUARY: Eva Mae Blight

Eva Mae Blight, 79, of Oxly, Mo., passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center at Poplar Bluff, Mo.

She was born Oct. 6, 1933, in Broughton to the late Ralph Andrew Shroyer and Lena Mae Miller Shroyer. She had been a high school educator and enjoyed seamtress work, as well as playing golf and cooking.

Eva Mae is survived by eight nieces and nephews, John Shroyer, Donna Murray, Kim Brasser, Janice Zapata, Jill Harmon, Kevin Shroyer, Terry Quick and Tim Quick. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Vada Nau; and one brother Ralph Eugene Shroyer.

Services for Mrs. Blight will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013, at the Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with the Rev. Russell Helton officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 p.m. Sunday to service time at the funeral home.
