OBITUARY: John T. Owens

John T. Owens, 86, of Cook Road, Eldorado, died Oct. 22, 2013, at Ferrell Hospital.

He was born in Eldorado on July 5, 1927, to the late James T. and Lula (Saul) Owens. He was a truck driver and an Army veteran. On Sept. 28, 1947, he married Wanda (Corlew) and she survives in Eldorado. Also surviving is a son, Denny (Jackie) Owens of Montrose, Mich.; three daughters, Judy (Jack) Raber of Grand Blank, Mich., Johnna (Kevin) Duncan of Flushing, Mich., and Janet (Bill) Ryker of Eldorado. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Owens, and two brothers.

Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. until 3:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at Watson Funeral Home and burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery with military rites.
