DEATH NOTICE: Doris Jean Karcher

Doris Jean Karcher, 80, Dahlgren, died 10:20 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at White Oaks Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Mount Vernon.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013, at St. John's Catholic Church in Dahlgren. Visitation is 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are in the charge of Gholson Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband, George Richard Karcher, three sons, a daughter, a sister, seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
