OBITUARIES: John Herbert Robinson

John Herbert Robinson, 59, resident of Equality passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

John was born in Fort Leavenworth, Kan., on July 11, 1954, to the late Ira Herbert Robinson and Lorene (Schaffer) Willard who survives. In addition to his mother he is survived by a son, Timothy Hayes Robinson of Shawneetown; a sister, Kathy Sue Mossman of Eldorado; a grandson, Steven Robinson; five stepchildren that he raised and loved as his own; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister, Myra June Peach.

At his request John was cremated and there will be no public services. Vickery Funeral Chapel Equality in charge of arrangements.
