OBITUARY: Harold D. Stucker

Harold D. Stucker, 78 of Galatia, passed away 6:45 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2014, at the Herrin Hospital.

He was born in Stonefort on Nov. 22, 1934, to the late Wilson and Syble (Morse) Stucker. Harold married Karen (Morris) Stucker on April 5, 1969, in Harrisburg. He was a self employed mechanic. He is survived by five children Danny (Brenda) Huett, Phyllis (Richard) Slightom, Wilson (Beth) Stucker, Pam (Terry) Stucker and Kevin (Danny Thomas) Stucker; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at the Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia with visitation from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date at the Little Springs cemetery at Stonefort. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
