OBITUARY: Patricia (Winter) Draper

Patricia (Winter) Draper, 67 of Carmi, passed away 7:05 a.m. Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, at her home.

She was born Nov. 25, 1946, in Burnt Prairie Township, the daughter of Norman E. and Mary E. (Burroughs) Winter. Pat married Larry E. Draper on Nov. 18, 1967, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 12, 2012. She retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture with 30 years of service at the White County Farm Service Agency in 2007. Pat was a member of the Emmanuel Methodist Church in Carmi, the Carmi Lions Club and White County HCE.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher (Cyndi) Draper of Raleigh and Jason (Lee Ann) Draper of Carmi; and the joys of her life, grandchildren Lincoln, Abigail and Emmaline Draper. Also surviving is Pat's mother, Mary E. Winter of Carmi; two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Richard D. (Janice) Winter of Burnt Prairie, Douglas (Nancy J.) Winter of Mill Shoals and Linda Draper of Enfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Patricia (Winter) Draper, 67, of Carmi, will be held 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with the Rev. Robert McKelvey and the Rev. Mike Buckman officiating. Burial will be in White County Memorial Garden near Carmi. Friends may call 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial gifts in Pat's name may be given to the Carmi Lions Club or

Emmanuel United Methodist Church New Building Fund and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home.
