OBITUARY: Anna Marie Kingston

Anna Marie Kingston, 81 of Harrisburg, passed away at 3:07 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, at Harrisburg Medical Center.

Anna was born on Oct. 4, 1933, in Equality to the late Benjamin Franklin and Mary (Kellems) Kingston.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (John) Foster of Harrisburg; three sisters, Betty (Lowell) Hooten of Crawfordsville, Ind., Jennie Crawford of Middletown, Mo., and Mabel Stone of Raleigh; special niece, Hazel Tucker of Raleigh; several nieces and nephews; two granddaughters and two grandsons, Angie and Mike Sullivan, Mary Ann Foster, John Robert Foster and Eric Foster; seven great-grandchildren; and her companion of 21 years, Craig Blue.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents; son, Bobby Wayne Kingston; and three brothers, Homer Kingston, Hubert Kingston and Benjamin Franklin Kingston Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev. Donald Counts will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, at Reed Funeral Chapel.
