OBITUARY: Clifford McPherson Sr.

Clifford McPherson Sr. of Harrisburg passed away Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, at Harrisburg Medical Center.

He was born April 8, 1954, in Estey, Mich., the son of George and Bernice Radidue McPherson. He was married to Starlite Shoulders McPherson who survives. He was a retired diesel mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Starlite; two sons, Clifford Jr. of Carterville and Michael of Mt. Vernon; two daughters, Tracy Dunn of Simpson and Melissa Shoulders of Harrisburg; three brothers, Clay and Sandy Wyatt of Lancing, Mich., George and Delores McPherson of Texas and Louie and Carol McPherson of Rhodes, Mich.; four sisters, Kenneen (Gene) Arndt of Rhodes, Mich., Penny (Gene) Robinson of Vanderbilt, Mich., Michelle McPherson of Midland, Mich., and Faye Munsch of Monger, Mich.; 18 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Esther Roder.

Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19, 2015, at the J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg with the Rev. Harl Cochrum officiating. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
