Leroy F. Littrell

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Leroy F. Littrell, 70, Mount Vernon, formerly of Eldorado, died 2:50 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at the Marion V.A. Medical Center.

A traditional service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado with L.D. Jolly officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery with graveside military rites. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2010, at the funeral home.

He was born on May 19, 1939, in Cave-In-Rock, to Willis E. and Goldie (Baylous) Littrell.

He served in the U.S. Navy. He was a life member of the Eldorado VFW, the American Legion and the life member of Amvets.

He is survived by two daughters, Tawana Blackwell of Mooresville, Ind., and Shana Littrell of Woodlawn; a stepdaughter, Jacenta McAlexander of Mount Vernon; two brothers, Gordon Littrell of Equality and Glen Littrell of Mount Vernon; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence; and a sister, Mary Evelyn Prince.
