Berneice Legro

Berneice Legro, 76, of Bradley, Ill., formerly of Eldorado, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015, in Bradley.

She was born in Eldorado on March 18, 1939, to the late Jesse and Virginia (Bishop) Murphy. She worked as a waitress and a bartender.

Survivors include two sons: Bobby Legro of Bradley and Jesse Legro of Branson, Mo. She is survived by seven grandchildren: Gene Legro, Austin Legro, Elizabeth Legro, Wendy Zeibohlt, Andrea Avolas, Frank Shipley, Nathan Shipley and Frank Shipley; and three great grandchildren. She also is survived by a sister, Martha Murphy; and an aunt, Nell Murphy Dolden. She was preceded in death by her husband Rodney J. Legro, in 1997; an infant son, Jackie Price; and two brothers, Jesse Delmon and Harold Lee Murphy.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at the Watson Funeral Home at 1 p.m. with Rev. Fred Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time of 1 p.m.
