Harrisburg fireworks dazzle crowd

The July 4 sky was barely dark when the skyrockets started exploding 9 p.m. Thursday at the Saline County Fairgrounds.

Grateful spectators viewed the show from folding chairs and the beds of pick up trucks.

Children were dazzled, parents oohed and ahhed and the show went on until 9:30 p.m.

Opportunities for more fireworks come Saturday with the Eldorado Men's Club show at the Eldorado Sports Complex with gates opening at 6 p.m. and in Eddyville with an afternoon of entertainment.
