Obituary: Lynda Carolyn Mitchell
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Lynda Carolyn Mitchell, 66, 103 Miller St., Carrier Mills, died 10:39 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011, at St. Mary's Hospital, Evansville, Ind.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, 2011. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills and the Rev. Darrell Ford will officiate.
She was born on Oct. 21, 1945, to the late William and Cora (Martin) Wiley. She married Jesse L. Mitchell on July 30, 1962, and he survives.
She was a homemaker, enjoyed her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her beloved puppy dogs.
She was a member of the Carrier Mills First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Jesse Mitchell of Carrier Mills; three sons, Leo Mitchell, Lonnie (Tonya) Mitchell and Garry (Kelley) Mitchell, all of Carrier Mills; a sister, Cora Marie (Tom) Bailey of Florida; five grandchildren, Jesse C. Mitchell, Lonnie Mitchell II, Megan Mitchell, Raychell Potts and Dillon Potts, all of Carrier Mills; and four great-grandchildren, Devin, Kaiden, Brayden and Addi.
