NFL Quick Shots: Harris relishes all opportunities

<p align="justify">Let's just say Tommie Harris had the media eating out of his hands this week.

<p align="justify">The popular defensive tackle's locker is a must-visit Wednesdays at Halas Hall. He's equal parts insightful and entertaining. This week, despite his team being 1-3 and facing such a crucial game Sunday at Green Bay, he made it clear it's OK not to be serious every moment.

<p align="justify">Could this game be the turning point of the season?

<p align="justify">"The magnitude and rivalry we have with the Packers, it does relish a lot of things when it comes to mind."

<p align="justify">What are the keys to being successful?

<p align="justify">"You have to relish the opportunities you have."

<p align="justify">What about problems in the second halves of games?

<p align="justify">"I don't think we've relished the opportunities we've had."

<p align="justify">Now you can see why the media relishes any opportunity to talk to Harris.

<p align="left">Numbers can lie

<p align="justify">Fact: Brian Griese fired 52 passes last week against Detroit. Analysis: Don't get used to an aerial show each week.

<p align="justify">"If you ask anybody in the league if they want to throw the ball 52 times, man, probably not very many," Griese said. "This league is about balance. For us, we need to continue to work toward that balance."

<p align="justify">Offensive coordinator Ron Turner broke down the total. He said 24 throws Became in two-minute situations, and 13 came on third down, with 10 coming with more than five yards to go.

<p align="justify">"We don't ever want to throw that much," he said. "You subtract those, and you're talking about 15 pass attempts during the normal flow of the game.

<p align="justify">"You can look at the stats and say, wow! Fifty-two passes. But seven of our first eight possessions we started with a run."

<p align="left">Keeping perspective

<p align="justify">Linebacker Hunter Hillenmeyer wants his team to treat Sunday's night game for what it is.

<p align="justify">"Obviously, you want to play well on national TV," he said. "But it doesn't change the way you prepare. It's not like you're more prepared because it's a nationally televised game.

<p align="justify">"Because it's a division game, a road game, against guys leading the division, that makes it a big game. It doesn't matter who's watching it."

<p align="left">No reward necessary

<p align="justify">Devin Hester wins Special Teams Player of the Month honors. Doesn't he owe his blockers dinner or something?

<p align="justify">"He's doing his job, what he's supposed to do," said blocker Brandon Ayanbadejo. "He's the best guy in the league. He has the NFL record. He expects us to block, and we expect him to score touchdowns.

<p align="justify">"We expect a lot out of Devin. He was player of the month; we expect him to be the player of the year."
