Obituary: Barbara 'Joyce' Fetcho

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Barbara "Joyce" Fetcho, 75, of Evansville, Ind., formerly of Eldorado, died Feb. 14, 2012, in Evansville, Ind.

Joyce was born on Nov. 2, 1936, in Eldorado to the late James Leonard and Eva (Hess) Barton. Joyce graduated from Eldorado High School with high honors as salutatorian in 1954.

Joyce was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Eldorado. She started playing the piano and organ at age 14 and continued doing so for many years. She also taught Sunday school, Bible school and sang in the church choir. She was a member of the local DAR chapter and served as regent.

On April 2, 1955, she married John Allen Fetcho and they were married for 54 years; he preceded her in death on April 20, 2009.

Surviving are her two daughters, Janet L. Reed of Evansville, Ind., and Janice L. Fetcho of O'Fallon. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Jennifer Reed and Jessica (Brian Lanning).

A memorial service will be held at noon on Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at the Watson Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Plunkett and the Rev. Russell Helton officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time of noon.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Music Department or First Baptist Church Youth Group.
