Obituary: Ralph E. Keene

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Ralph E. Keene, 81, Harrisburg, died 6:45 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011 at his residence.

Graveside services will precede burial 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Harrisburg. Bob Coburn will officiate. There will be no visitation; those attending should meet at the cemetery prior to service time. Arrangements are entrusted to Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills.

He was born July 5, 1929 in Harrisburg to William H. and Elsie M. (Winn) Keene. He worked as a train porter and was Protestant by faith.

He is survived by three brothers, Wendell Keene of Marion, Charles Keene of Carrier Mills and Jack (Mildred) Keene of Carrier Mills; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, William Keene Jr. and Norman Keene; and two sisters, Lillian Keene and Barbara Berry.
