Prep Soccer: Harrisburg shuts out Salem

The Harrisburg girls soccer team picked up a 2-0 victory at Salem Saturday.

Kelsey Hobbs had both goals, getting assists from Hannah Bartok and Kyleigh Peacock.

Sierra Harrington saved five goals in net for the Bulldogs, while Harrisburg put up 16 shots on goal.

"We as coaches are starting to see a good foundation of the way we want them to play soccer," head coach Jason Butler said. "Now we have to get the technical skills sharpened up."

Harrisburg will host Marion Tuesday and travel to Cape Central High School in Cape Girardeau Thursday.
