Martha E. Russell
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mrs. Martha E. Russell, 77, of Eldorado, passed away at 8:36 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at St. Mary's Hospital, Evansville, Ind.
She was the widow of Robert Russell, who preceded her in death.
Martha was born in Eldorado on April 22, 1933, the daughter of the late Richard and Jessie (Trout) Copeland.
She was a member of First Christian Church of Eldorado. She was a homemaker.
Martha is survived by two daughters, Linda (Ernie) Green of Fresno, Calif. and Shirley (Kenneth) Dale of Eldorado. Martha is also survived by a brother, Frank (Margaret) Allen of Eldorado; 10 grandchildren, Christopher (Megan) Funkhouser, Stephanie (Jeff) Disney, Sarah (Scott) Green, Amy (James) Carleson, Gina (Brian) Feldpausch, Jennifer (Ramiro) 'Ochoaguzman, Perry (Hannah) Shelton, Christy (Terry) McCarty; numerous great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Roberta Funkhouser.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Joe Funkhouser; a daughter, Wanda Holbrook; brother, Jackie Copeland; a sister Verla Doerr; and a granddaughter, Beth Ann Holbrook.
Funeral services are at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Monday, July 5, 2010, with the Rev. Dennis Robison officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m. to service time Monday at Colonial Terrace funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and left at the funeral home.
