OBITUARY: Carlos Edward Winkleman

Carlos Edward Winkleman, 57, of Harrisburg, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.

He was born Nov. 12, 1955, in Harrisburg, the son of Carl E. Winkleman and Mary Flemming Winkleman. He was married to the former LInda McGill Oct. 7, 1975, in Dresden, Tenn. Carlos was an avid NASCAR fan.

He is survived by his wife Linda; one son, B.J. Winkleman and fiancee Katelyn Haney of Harrisburg; one daughter, Brandi (Scott) Layman, Stonefort; one brother, James Winkleman, Harrisburg; and five grandchildren, Alivia Winkleman, Briar Winkleman, Seth Thomas, Paxton Haney and Brantley Winkleman; and his faithful companion Chica.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg with the Rev. Clifford Clark officiating and burial in Cottage Grove Cemeteery.
