Obituary: Paul W. Rogers Jr.

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Paul W. Rogers Jr., 74, Creal Springs, passed away at 2:10 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2011, at his residence.

Paul was born on April 11, 1937, in Xenia to the late Paul Rogers Sr. and Marguerite (Greenwood) Rogers. On Sept. 26, 1964, he married Naomi Stone and she survives.

Surviving family members include his wife, Naomi (Stone) Rogers of Creal Springs; a sister, Ruth (Robert) Henson of Arkansas; brother, Jerry (Tresia) Lee of Arab, Ala.; sister, Barbara Lee of Xenia; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, John and Alberta Wright, Gene and Wanda Reed, Darold and June Winkleman, Bill and Carol Stone, David and Ann Hinant, Dwight Bolds and Cindy Messamore and Bobby and Chris Stone; several nieces and nephews, Jim and Pat Jirkovsky, Larry Wright, Kerry Grishom, Sharon Wright, Don Winkleman, Nate and Matt Stone, John David and Sherry Hinant, Dana Maloney, Shanna Hinant, Randy Cox, Chris Cox, Tina Jirkovsky, Andrea Farley, Jerome Cox, Johnny and April Probus, Devin Winkleman, Jim and Deju Weathers, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Messamore, Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Wilson, Madeliene Stone and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Stone; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tom Lee; and sister-in-law, Kay Browning.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at Liberty Cemetery in Harrisburg. The Rev. Scott Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to gather at the cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2011, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg.
