Obituary: William 'Bill' S. Wiggins
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[William "Bill" S. Wiggins. Jr., 84, of Greenville, passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Bill is now resting peacefully with the Lord.
He was born March 13, 1928, in Harrisburg, the son of Willie and Edith (Smothers) Wiggins. Bill, served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, painted automobiles for 35 years, loved to fish on Lake Michigan for salmon and lake perch with his wife of 58 years and spending time with family and friends talking about the old times and he enjoyed a cold beer.
He is survived by his wife Florence "Marie"; daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and (Rick) Kent of Cedar Springs, Mich., Barbara and (Keith) Kanoza of Grand Rapids, Mich. and Laurie & (Danny) Loffgren of Glouchster, Va.; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and (Deb) Wiggins of Coopersville; brothers, George and (Sue) of Marion, John and (Judy), Roy and (Pam), Paul and (Jennifer) and Riley and (Connie) all of Galatia and David residing in Michigan; three sisters, Francis and (Don) Reynolds of California, Maryann and (Bob) Conklin of Princeton, Ind. and Janet Pabey of Indiana; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard "Buddy" Wiggins; and his sisters, Juanita, Betty and Eula "Sis."
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2012 at the Greenville Community Church, with Pastor Joel Heron officiating. Members of the family will meet with friends and relatives from 10 a.m. until the services. There will be a luncheon following the services. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider his wife Florence "Marie."
