SIH Primary Care reopens

HARRISBURG - SIH Primary Care Harrisburg reopened Tuesday following a brief closure associated with COVID-19 infections among some staff.

After a professional, comprehensive cleaning and proactive testing of all employees and providers, the clinic resumed normal operations with continued vigilance involving the wear of personal protective equipment and appropriate cleaning and infection-prevention protocols.

SIH Primary Care Harrisburg continues to collaborate with Egyptian Health Department and SIH infection prevention personnel to care for the health and well-being of impacted employees. The reopening includes SIH Outpatient Rehabilitation and outpatient laboratory services located within the building.

SIH urges the general public to remain vigilant in taking simple steps to stop the spread of COVID-19, such as engaging in vigorous hand-washing, masking, practicing social distancing, staying home when ill and seeking medical care when needed.
