The Rev. Tom Flewellen
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Rev. Tom Flewellen, 71, 2230 Wasson Road, Harrisburg, died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, in the emergency room of Ferrell Hospital, Eldorado.
Services will be at noon Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, at Miracle Temple Church in Wasson with the Rev. Mike Whobrey, the Rev. Toby Hise and the Rev. Manfred Polk officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009, at the church. Arrangements are in the charge of Watson Funeral Home, Eldorado.
He was born Aug. 3, 1938, in Lindale, Texas, to Thomas Junius and Ernestine (Glasscock) Flewellen.
He was a minister at Miracle Temple Church and member of Independent Assemblies of God, a member of Full Gospel fellowship of churches and Ministers International. He served in ministry in Eldorado and Evansville, Ind., for the past 45 years.
He is survived by his caregiver and longtime friend, Fred Isaacs; aunt, Tincie Kennedy of Texas; and uncle, Tommy Glasscock of Texas.
His church congregation was his family, which he loved dearly.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
