OBITUARY: Albert M. Wagler
Albert M. Wagler of Stonefort, the son of Menno and Verna Stutzman Wagler was born Nov. 29, 1930, in Hartsville, Ohio, and passed away Feb. 4, 2015, near Stonefort at the age of 84 years, two months and six days.
He was baptized upon his confession of faith in Christ in his youth. He was a member of the Carrier Mills Amish Mennonite Church and remained faithful to the end.
On Dec. 4, 1952, he was married to Katie N. Schrock. She preceded him in death on Dec. 7, 2008.
Surviving are three sons, Menno and wife Barbara of Cottage Grove, Tenn., Daniel and wife Viola of Stonefort and Stephen and wife Nioma of Kenton, Tenn.; two daughters, Naomi and husband Calvin Yoder of Moulton, Ala., and Susan and husband Louis Kauffman of Cottage Grove, Tenn.; one foster son, Eugene Reynolds and wife Barbara of Jennings, Fla.; one brother, Leroy; and two sisters, Ada and Miriam; 40 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; one daughter, Miriam; his parents; three brothers; and one sister.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015, at the Cedar Bluff Social Brethren Camp with Milton Yoder and Samuel Yoder officiating and burial will be in the Carrier Mills Amish Mennonite Cemetery. Friends may call at the Carrier Mills Amish Mennonite Church from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015.
