OBITUARY: Rosa Lee Randolph

Rosa Lee Randolph, age 82 of Delwood, passed away March 30, 2013, at Harrisburg Medical Center in Harrisburg.

Rosa was born July 2, 1930, in Mulligan, Ky., to the late Jess and Daisy (Ramage) Guill. She married James "Lowell" Randolph on Feb. 26, 1945, he survives. Rosa was a hard working farm wife. She was a mother, "grannie" and aunt to her family whom she loved very much. Rosa Lee loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed spending time in her kitchen preparing home-cooked meals for everyone to share. The joy she received, by spending countless hours preparing handed down recipes that only she could prepare, was seconded only to the satisfaction of pleasing each and every individual that was blessed to sit at her table. She will be greatly missed by her loving family.

Rosa is survived by her husband of 68 years, Lowell Randolph; children, James (Sharon) Randolph of Galatia, Denia (Vic) Gibbs of Harrisburg, Dennis Randolph of Delwood; grandchildren, Missy (Matt) Landis, Eldorado, Niki Randolph, Cape Girardeau, Mo., Chad (Patricia) Gibbs, Folsom, Calif.; great-grandchildren, Jordan (Jake) Joyner, Harrisburg, Reid Landis, Eldorado, Kaitlyn Gibbs, Folsom, Calif., Christian Gibbs, Folsom, Calif.; several nieces and nephews; special friend and caregiver, Christine Bowers.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Aly Funeral Home in Eddyville. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Delwood. The Rev. Loy Barger will conduct the service. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday April 3, 2013, at the funeral home.
