Obituary: Ronald E. Pankey

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Ronald E. Pankey, 63, of Harrisburg, passed away at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011, at his residence in Harrisburg.

Ronald was born on June 23, 1948, in Muskegon Heights, Mich. to Carl and Margo (Thompson) Pankey. Ronald was an Vietnam Army veteran, and a member of the American Legion of Harrisburg.

Ronald is survived by two daughters, Beth Moore and husband Chris of Galatia and Tracy Hutchison and husband Joe of Harrisburg; his mother, Margo Pankey of Harrisburg; three grandchildren, Kelsey Pankey, Alyssa Hutchison and D.J. Hutchison; a great-granddaughter, Addy Lukancic; sister, Tony Bartok and husband Bill of Eldorado; an aunt, Freda Roberts of Harrisburg; two nephews, BJ Bartok and wife Veronica and Jake Bartok and wife Robin; four great-nieces and nephews, Gabrial Bartok, Dominik Bartok, Kelsey Bartok and Shelby Bartok; and several cousins.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Carl Pankey.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26, 2011, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev Roy Hughes will officiate, burial will follow in Sunset Garden Cemetery with graveside military rites by the Harrisburg American Legion VFW and the National Guard.
