OBITUARY: The Rev. Jesse Richard Garrett

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Rev. Jesse Richard Garrett, 73, of Inka, Miss., formerly of Eldorado, passed away 12:14 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2012, at the Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home in Inka, Miss.

Jesse was born on Sept. 2, 1938, in Richmond, Va., the son of Eric L. and Juliet (Garnet) Garrett. He married Bonnie Baker on June 26, 1964, and she preceded him in death on September 18, 1998.

The Rev. Garrett was a retired Gospel Assembly minister and a faithful member of the Gospel Assembly Church. He is survived by son, Eric and Michell Garrett of Florance, Ala.; one daughter, Aimee Woodruff of Inka, Miss.; and his sister, Lola Garrett of Ahosie, N.C.; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation for Rev. Garrett will be held 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at the Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2012, at the Eldorado Gospel Assembly with the Rev. L.D. Jolly officiating. Burial will be at the Wolf Creek Cemetery near Eldorado.
