Obituary: Ardell Benjamin 'Ben' Valleroy III

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Ardell Benjamin "Ben" Valleroy III, 35, of 505 N. Mill St., Carrier Mills, died at 2:38 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2012, at his residence.

Memorial graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Liberty Cemetery near Harrisburg. There will be no visitation; all friends should go directly to the cemetery. The Rev. Gary Simmons will officiate. Memorials may be made to the cemetery. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills is in charge of arrangements.

He was born on Sept. 24, 1976, in Harrisburg to the late Ardell Benjamin Valleroy and Flora (Stone) Valleroy Childers, who survives.

He married Rachella Staley on April 13, 2007, and she survives.

He was employed at American Coal Company and was a member of the Harrisburg Hunters Club.

He is survived by his wife, Rachella Valleroy of Carrier Mills; mother, Flora Childers of Harrisburg; stepson, Jordan Aud of Carrier Mills; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Angela Wynne of Eldorado; three sisters, Linda Valleroy and Dorene Ewell, both of Harrisburg and Jackie Prusaczyk of Oregon; mother and father-in law, Linda and William Staley of Carrier Mills; and two brothers-in-law, David and Thomas Staley.

He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Ardell Benjamin Valleroy II; and grandmother, Dorothy Spencer.
