Expected from Norwich tonight:
MORATORIUM: The Griswold Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing Aug. 13 to discuss the possibility of a moratorium on residential developments. This is a big deal because many residents are up in arms about the tax base, which is not supplemented by commercial developments. Resident Leo Bordeleau had first mentioned it at a hearing on the 2007 Plan of Conservation and Development, because the schools are getting crowded, and although a new school building project will ease the crowding, it may not not really help unless a moratorium is placed on new housing projects. With breakout an sidebars.
