Morning Jolt: Guinness pulls out of St. Patrick's Day parade

Guinness withdrew its support for New York City's St. Patrick's Day parade today because gay and lesbian groups aren't allowed to openly participate in the parade. Facing pressure from bars and GLAAD, Guinness decided to not participate in the parade. Heineken also withdrew its support for the New York parade, and Sam Adams did the same for the Boston parade.

The search continues for the missing Malaysia Airlines flight. Efforts now are focused on wide area of Asia where the plane might have ended up.
