OBITUARY: Rita A. Mills

Rita A. Mills, 65 of Lincoln, Neb., passed away Monday, Feb. 17, 2014.

Born Aug. 11, 1948, to Harold and Virginia Huson in Jacksonville, she was raised in Decatur and graduated high school from MacArthur High School in 1966. She married Stan Mills on June 11, 1971. Stan and Rita raised their family in Lincoln, Neb., where she worked for the State of Nebraska.

Rita was survived by her husband, Stan; children, Brookley (Joe) Rivera of Lincoln, Neb., Ry (Kelly) Mills of Chicago; two grandchildren, Mason and Miley Rivera with one Baby Mills due in August; sister, Janet Wilder of Lincoln, Neb.; brothers, Dennis (Phoebe) Huson, Greg (Susie) Huson and Brad (Cindy) Huson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Hal Huson.

Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2110 Sheridan Blvd. Lincoln, Neb. Memorials may be made to Camp Sonshine.
