Mass. Market: Hancock urges its employees to go the 'extra mile'

Most runners who haven't yet qualified for Boston are lining up plans to travel extensively for warm-weather races or to risk the chills of the Hyannis Marathon in a last-ditch effort to secure a qualifying time.

But the runners who work for John Hancock and want to run the Boston marathon in April are prepping for a different standard.
