Prep Baseball: Eagles fall in extra innings to Carmi-White County
The Eldorado baseball team used a furious seventh inning rally to knot things up with Carmi-White County, but couldn't pull out the win, falling 9-7 in eight innings Thursday at the EHS Sports Complex.
In the bottom of the seventh, with one out and runners at second and third, Max Kaiser roped a double, scoring Bryson Sigler to make it 7-all.
EHS had seven hits on the day as Stanton Hathaway and Sigler each had multiple hit games. Hathaway drove in two, while Sigler had one RBI. Each scored one run.
Josh Pilkington, Graceffa and Kaiser each had one hit.
Drew Woolcott scored a pair of runs, while Kale Oglesby, Adam Collier, and Dalton each scored one run.
Kaiser took the start on the mound, going four innings, allowing six runs (three earned) on six hits, while striking out six and walking four.
Woolcott and Collier each spent time in relief, combining for four hits, one earned run, three K's and two walks.
