Mayors will summit in Somerville to talk casino strategy

Fifteen mayors from across the state will attend a meeting of the Massachusetts Mayors' Association Sept. 26 to discuss issues and strategies arising from Gov. Deval Patrick's proposal on casino gambling.

Among the experts at the meeting will be:

<li>Clyde Barrow, director, Center for Policy Analysis, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth</li>

<li>Jeffrey Berry, professor of political science, Tufts University</li>

<li>Rev. Richard McGowan, associate professor and author, Carroll School of Management, Boston College.</li>

</ul>

The meeting will be at Jimmy Tingle's theater on Elm Street.
