Obituary: Bonita Hancock

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Bonita Hancock, 82, Harrisburg, passed away at 4:05 a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012, at Herrin Hospital, Herrin.

Bonita was born on March 13, 1930, in Harrisburg to the late Howard and Britta (Reynolds) Randolph. She married Billy Dale Hancock on April 16, 1949, and he preceded her in death on March 16, 2002.

Surviving family members include a daughter, Sandi Cleveland and husband Tom of Harrisburg; a son, Keith Hancock and wife Mariann of Harrisburg; five grandchildren, Tonya Collins, Matt Hancock and wife Lonna, Christi Bailey and husband Matt, Mike Hancock and Mark Hancock; two great-grandchildren, Haliegh Collins and Claire Collins; two sisters, Lois Lambert and Sue Mott and husband John; sister-in-law, Vivian Randolph; brother-in-law, Byrum Wallace; and a special nephew, Randy Engleby and wife Tanya.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters, Helen Randolph, Mildred Wallace and Juanita Engleby; brother, Harold Randolph; brother, Wayne Randolph; and a sister in infancy, Velma Lorrine Randolph.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012, at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg. The Rev. Bob Patton will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg.
