Dear Michael: Best friend betrayal

Dear Michael,

I just recently got a new job, and I like it very much. But there seems to be personality issues between my girlfriend and my boss. She doesn't agree with me working there and would rather I quit, but I would never dream of it. It's been a great experience and would hurt my career if I left. What should I do?
