OBITUARY: Cecilia Harasym

Cecilia Harasym, 89 of Eldorado, passed away 12:55 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014, at her residence.

She was born on Oct. 14, 1925, in Chicago to the late Joseph and Stella Rutkiewicz. Cecilia was married to Joseph Walter Harasym and he preceded her in death. She work at the Harrisburg Manufacturing Company (Hat Factory) as a hat visor stitcher. She is survived by two children, Donald English and Pam Wiseman; eight grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a grandson, great-grandson, three brothers and three sisters.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Eldorado with visitation 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home.
