‘Cows don't take vacations' -- Work never ends on a dairy farm

Fluorescent lights gleam off a shiny stainless steel cylinder that protrudes from an office wall at Lee Dairy Farm.

The cylinder, which actually straddles two rooms, looks like a septic tank on legs. It occupies a relatively small space. It could fit inside a home walk-in closet. It's nothing compared with the sprawling farm itself of 800 acres in three locations.
