Obituary: Orlin Josh Organ Jr.

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Orlin Josh Organ Jr., 84, Eldorado, died 7 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011, at McLeansboro Rehab.

Josh was born Dec. 24, 1926, in Walpole, the son of Orlin J. Organ Sr. and Reatha Beatrice (Porter) Organ. He was formerly married to Jean Matthews of Harrisburg.

He was retired from LTV Steel Co. in Whiting, Ind. Josh served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Tuscan Masonic Lodge No. 630 in Walpole, and later transferred to Eldorado Masonic Lodge No. 730 A.F. and A.M. and was a 32nd Degree Mason. He was also a member of the American Legion in Ridgway, where he loved to play cards.

He is survived by two sons, Gary Lee Organ of McLeansboro and David Organ of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and a daughter, Sherry Fieser of Deland, Fla. He had five grandchildren, Mark Organ, Jason Organ, Sara (Organ) Brame, Brent Fieser and Scott Fieser; and a great-grandchild due in September.

Friends may call at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2011. Masonic rites by Eldorado Lodge No. 730 will precede the memorial service to be held at 11 a.m.

Josh was preceded by his parents; a brother, John Porter Organ; two sisters, Mary Ellen Organ and Barbara Ann Elder; as well as one son, John Porter Organ.
