Prep Golf: Eagles fall in triangular

The Eldorado High School boys' golf team got a 47 from Braydon Van Zant in a triangular loss to Benton and Murphysboro Monday.

Benton fired a 159, while Murphysboro carded a 168 and Eldorado finished with a 214 at Benton Country Club.

Josh Rice added a 49 for the Eagles, while Jack Mings finished with a 51. Both John Amberger and Sam Cooker shot a 67 to round out scoring for EHS.

Eldorado will return to action today (Tuesday) when they take on Hamilton County at 4 p.m. at Saline County Country Club.
