Walter E. Stricklin

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Walter E. Stricklin, 73, 512 W. Lincoln St., Harrisburg, died at 4:05 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at his residence.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 2010, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Jody Colvin officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2010, at the funeral home.

He was born on Aug. 22, 1936, in Harrisburg to the late William and Nola (Oglesby) Stricklin. He married the former Neva Davidson on Sept. 1, 1956, who survives.

He was employed at Wolf Brothers Bottling/Coca-Cola in Harrisburg for 25 years. He later worked and retired after 16 years as custodian at the Harrisburg High School.

He is survived by his wife, Neva Stricklin; a son, Steve (Connie) Stricklin of Harrisburg; two daughters, Teresa (James) McMillan and Nicole Stricklin, both of Harrisburg; a brother, Clarence Stricklin of Harrisburg; six grandchildren, Mindy, Ashley, Brandon, Monica, Nicholas and Zachary; and two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Christopher.
