Alumni Corner: Murray wins pole vault event for Ole Miss.

Tyler Smithpeters - SIU (Harrisburg HS)

Smithpeters scored nine points and played 31 minutes in SIU's 74-70 win over Illinois State Saturday at the SIU Arena.

Smithpeters was 3-for-7 from the field and 3-of-6 from 3-point range, while grabbing one rebound. The former Harrisburg standout handed out four assists, had four steals and three turnovers. SIU heads to Chicago to take on Loyola on Wednesday, starting at 7 p.m.

Justin Carpenter - SEMO (Mt. Carmel HS)

Carpenter came off the bench to score four points in SEMO's 91-86 loss at home to Eastern Kentucky over the weekend. Carpenter played 22 minutes, going 2-of-5 from the field and grabbing seven rebounds (four defensive) with one turnover and one steal.

SEMO is back in action Thursday on the road at SIU Edwardsville.

Alison Webb - Lindenwood (Goreville HS)

Webb had a game-high 19 points in leading Lindenwood to a 82-53 win over Central Baptist (Ark.) Saturday on the road.

Webb was 8-for-15 from the field and 3-of-5 from the line, pulling down 17 rebounds (10 defensive) to finish with a double-double. The former Goreville and JALC standout finished with five turnovers, four assists, one block and one steal in 29 minutes.

Tyra Buss - Indiana (Mt. Carmel HS)

Buss scored 10 points for her 105th career game in double figures in a 77-62 loss at No. 10 Ohio State Saturday.

Buss was 4-for-14 from the field, including a 2-for-8 clip from 3-point range and was 0-of-4 at the line, while grabbing two rebounds, finishing with four turnovers, two assists and two steals.

Indiana visits No. 11 Maryland tonight (Tuesday) at 7 p.m. That contest will be shown on BTN Plus.

Isaac Ingram - SIU (Harrisburg HS)

Ingram made it a clean sweep for the Salukis in the weight throw, as he won his second-straight title with a season-best toss of 68'-9.75" (20.97m) over the weekend at the Illini Open.

Lindsey Murray - Ole Miss (Harrisburg HS)

Murray kicked off her final indoor season with a win in the pole vault at the Blazer Open in Birmingham, Ala., clearing 4.05m (13-03.50) for a solid season open that puts her at ninth in the NCAA. Murray and Ole Miss compete at the Vanderbilt Invite, starting Friday in Nashville, Tenn.

Darryl Sullivan - Tennessee (Marion HS)

Sullivan was fourth in the high jump, clearing 2.15m (7-0.50) at the UAB Vulcan Invite in Birmingham, Ala., over the weekend. The Vols sophomore and former Marion standout will compete in Clemson, South Carolina at the Bob Pollock Invitational on Jan. 26-27.
