Margie E. Wiles

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Margie E. Wiles, 83, of Shawneetown, passed away at 5:55 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at the Phoenix Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Carmi.

She was born in Hopkins County, Ky., on May 18, 1927, the daughter of Marion and Mabel (McEuen) Dame. Margie married Blain Wiles on March 18, 1944, and he preceded her in death on September 17, 2006.

She is survived by four daughters, Sandy and Verlin Perry of Marissa, Paula and Lonnie West of Las Vegas, Nev., Patty and Bill Winters of Shawneetown and Jenny and Hershel Rigsby Jr. of Shawneetown; two sons, Jerry and Harriet Wiles of McDonald, Tenn. and Terry and Brenda Wiles of Eureka; 11 grandchildren, Nicole Jasper, Josh Perry, John Blain Wiles, Maggie Caldwell, Tara Vickery-Gorden, Kimi Schroeder, Adam Vickery, Jay Winters, Laura Steele, Aaron Wiles and Kyle Wiles; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Robert, Hayse and Homer Dame; and four sisters, Mary Lou Morrow, Alberta Parker, Gladys Dame and Catherine Hill.

Visitation for Margie will held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2010, at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 30, 2010, with the Rev. Kimi Schroeder officiating.
