OBITUARY: Paul Lukancic

Paul Lukancic, age 76 of Harrisburg, passed away at 4:45 p.m., Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, at his residence in Harrisburg.

Paul was born on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1937, in Wasson to the late Frank and Stella (Killman) Lukancic.

He married Dorothy Hamilton on June 17, 1958 and she survives in Harrisburg. Paul was a member of the Stonefort Masonic Lodge.

Paul is survived by his wife, Dorothy Lukancic of Harrisburg; son, Tony Lukancic and wife Becky of Harrisburg; daughter, Paula Moore and husband Deon of Harrisburg; daughter, Terressa Sheldon and husband Charlie of Harrisburg; son, Victor Lukancic and wife Barbara of Raleigh; daughter, Amber Rumsey and husband Tyler of Harrisburg; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Val Gene Lukancic; sister, Wanda Parish; sister, Nell Fuller.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills. The Rev. Dan Masters and the Rev. Jim Hamilton will officiate and burial will follow in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg.
