Obituary: Thomas F. Barry Sr.

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Thomas F. Barry Sr., 91, of Eldorado, formerly of Chicago, passed away Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, at Ferrell Hospital.

Thomas was born in Chicago, one of eight children, on Oct. 15, 1920, a son of the late Hannah (Connor) and Michael James Barry.

He worked as a telephone repairman for Illinois Bell prior to retirement.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Force.

He was the widower of Patricia (Coyne) Barry, who preceded him in death.

Thomas is survived by two sons, Mick (Bonnie) Barry of Iowa and Tom (Joan) Barry of Eldorado; five grandchildren, Christopher (Erika) Barry, Mickey (Jerrica) Barry, Sean (Ann) Barry, Ben (Kimberly) Barry and Caitlin Barry; and two great-grandchildren, Matthew Thomas and Braydon Thomas.

Mr. Barry was cremated at his request and there will be no local public service.
