OBITUARY: Frances J. 'Bunny' Bennett

Frances J. "Bunny" Bennett, 72 of Harrisburg, passed away at 1:21 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, at her residence.

She was born on May 17, 1934, in Hardin County to the late Frank and Dorothy (Reiner) Humm. Frances was a bookkeeper for the Harrisburg Cap Factory for many years and was a Catholic by faith. On July 19, 1963, she married "Tommy" Bennett and he preceded her in death on Oct. 12, 2011. Frances loved to china paint and was a member of the Shawnee China Painters Guild.

She is survived by a son: John and wife Jennifer Bennett of Carbondale; and two grandchildren: Ian Wilson Bennett and Conner Alexander Bennett of Carbondale.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents and husband Tommy Bennett.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at Reed Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Walter Baker will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at Reed Funeral Chapel.
